spot where Helly slipped and died

A foreign tourist slipped on the stairs in a hotel and died on the spot. This was his first visit to India with family.

Petri Helly, 50, from United Arab Republic was staying in Hotel Udaigarh Palace in Lal Ghat. This was his first visit to India with family. He was coming down the stairs from the first floor with his wife, son and daughter-in-law when he suddenly lost balance and came rolling down. He succumbed to severe injury on the back of his head and died on the spot. He was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared dead by the medical staff.

Body of this tourist has been kept in MB Hospital mortuary. The concerned Embassy has been notified about the death of Petri Helly. His family denied the need for post-mortem which has also been informed to the Embassy. Once Embassy staff arrives, all necessary action will be done before handing over the body to the family.
