Little did he know that it was the last day of his life. A youth who was helping on an accident site got crushed by a truck on the same site. The incident occurred near Chirwa tunnel. An accident had taken place at the turn near Chirwa tunnel on Sunday afternoon.

Jitendra was travelling to Udaipur from Nathdwara by car. His car overturned the moment he crossed the tunnel. The sound of the overturning car caught the attention of people nearby who rushed to help the driver. Sohan Dangi was on his way to Kailashpuri after paying a visit at Bedla Mata temple. Seeing the accident, he stopped his car and started helping people who were trying to save the person (Jitendra) stuck in the car. That very moment, a truck with UP registration carrying a vegetable freezer took a turn. This turning truck proved to be fatal. Sohan Dangi and one other person were hit by the truck where Sohan got crushed. Both the injured were rushed to the hospital. Sohan was declared dead by the doctors.

The truck driver escaped from the site and his truck has been seized by police. Sohan’s brother has filed a case against the truck driver and the engineer of NHAI. Reportedly, this turn is extremely dangerous and a number of accidents take place every month.
