With the alertness of passersby, a horse was rescued after a horse-cart accidentally collapsed on road opposite to collectorate today.

According to eyewitnesses, it was a shocking scene when the horse suddenly fell down on the ground and was unable to get up. Immediately, many people including a few motorists came to the rescue of the animal and detached the cart from his body to set him free.

“We thought that the horse will die as he was not responding for at least a minute, but miraculously he got up”, said an eye witness who helped in rescuing the animal.

For a few minutes, the traffic was affected due to the accident but was controlled later by the police officials present there.
