Indian Tejas Fighter Jet Crashes During Dubai Air Show | Pilot Dead
The IAF has confirmed that the pilot sustained fatal injuries after the mid-display accident and that 'it deeply regrets the loss of life'
Nov 21, 2025 – An Indian Air force’s HAL Tejas fighter jet reportedly crashed at around 2:10 pm local time on Friday during the Dubai Air Show. According to initial details, the plane was performing an aerial display during the show when it went down at 1410hrs local time. Thick black smoke could be seen arising from the crash spot near the Al Maktoum International Airport where the event was being held.
The crash created a panic among the spectators, including children, who had gathered to watch the show. The show was temporarily halted and rescue operations began immediately. The Dubai Airshow is one of the world's biggest aviation exhibitions.
The IAF confirmed that the pilot sustained fatal injuries - 'deeply regrets the loss of life', added the IAF. As per reports, a court of inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the crash.
