A foreign tourist received serious injuries after being hit by the horns of a cow on the Jagdish Mandir - City palace road. The tourist has been admitted in a private hospital.
A foreign tourist received serious injuries after being hit by the horns of a cow on the Jagdish Mandir – City palace road. The tourist has been admitted in a private hospital.
As per the eye-witnesses, the incident happened around 8 pm. The 70 year old French tourist fell after being hit by the horn of the cow. The passerby and businessmen in the area immediately rushed to help her and found severe injury in her stomach. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital.
Ward councillor Devendra Javliya was also informed about the incident. People complained to him that stray animals had created a nuisance in the area. At this Javliya said that he had apprised the Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari and Commissioner Sidharth Sihag about the situation multiple times but is yet to see action.
People in the area said that stray animals regularly knock down vehicles parked in the area and run after people creating trouble.
