A lady was killed on Friday afternoon when the auto in which she was travelling was hit from behind by a bus. The auto driver was seriously injured in the accident.

The accident happened near Laxman Bawdi in Sukher Police station area. Head constable Amjad informed that Oton ka Guda resident Doli bai was killed in the accident.

The deceased had left her home to go to Shobhagpura. A bus coming from behind hit the auto rickshaw in which she was travelling. Because of the impact, the auto overturned and both the lady and the auto driver sustained serious injuries. Both of them were rushed to hospital where the lady died during treatment.

Police has confiscated the bus and initiated investigation.
