In a deadly mishap today evening, Ranbeer (30) lost his life as he was crushed under marble slab at Sukher.

According to the police, Ranbeer s/o Madan Singh, resident of Nagor used to work in Maruti Marbles, Sukher as a laborer.  Today, while helping the cargo out of the truck containing marble slabs, the truck was moved instantly by the driver and accidently a huge marble slab slipped outside the truck crushing Ranbeer.

The truck driver ran from the scene.  Ranbeer was pulled out from beneath the slab by others and sent to M.B. Hospital via 108 ambulance, where he was declared dead.  His body was kept in the mortuary.

Ranbeer’s parents would be here by tomorrow and the body would be handed over to the guardians after the postmortem.

A case was registered at Sukher Police Station.
