A man died on the spot after getting hit by a loading vehicle in Transport Nagar. On Monday evening a loading vehicle hit a man in Transport Nagar which falls under Goverdhan Vilas region.

Om Prakash Meena (50) s/o Paras Ram Meena was walking towards Transport Nagar when a loading vehicle coming from city side hit him. Due to this, the man fell unconscious on the road. The vehicle driver ran away from the spot leaving the loading vehicle there itself.

People saw Om Prakash Meena and took him to the hospital where he was declared dead on spot. Body of the deceased has been kept in mortuary for post mortem to be carried out today. Whereabouts of the driver are not yet known.
