A motorcyclist died on the spot after being hit by a speeding car. The mishap took place near Badi Lake today evening. The accused car owner fled away leaving his car on the spot. Angry over the incident, local villagers damaged the car.

According to the sources, the victim Chatar Singh was going on his motorcycle when a speeding Maruti Swift car hit him. The crash as so severe that the victim died on the spot. A large number of people gathered on the spot seeing the situation. The accused car driver fled away from the scene.

Locals of the area damaged the car by pelting stones and even tried to burn it but they were controlled by elders of the village. Police has shifted the body to the mortuary.
