A student pursuing MBA from Pacific College Udaipur was killed in a road accident yesterday when his motorcycle got hit by a trailer.

The student, identified as Arpit, was a resident of Bhilwara and pursuing his management education from Pacific college. Yesterday evening, his motorcycle was hit at Pratap Nagar Chauraha by a trailer going from Debari towards Madri. Upon impact, Arpit fell on the road. The tyres of the trailer then went over his head crushing him to death on the spot.

Second year MBA student Arpit (22) had taken necessary precaution by wearing a helmet but even the helmet could not save him from the weight of the trailer.

The college authorities informed his parents, who immediately rushed from Bhilwara. Parents were informed only about accident and not death till they reached Udaipur.

The truck driver fled from the scene. Police has confiscated the vehicle and started investigation.
