Rat Snake, 10 ft long Cobra Rescued
Chaman Singh, a rescuer and expert snake catcher rescued an Indian Spectacled Cobra (Naja Naja) a highly venomous snake and rat snake from two different areas of Udaipur today.

On a rescue call from Shilpi Restaurant near Shilp Gram, Chaman Singh reached the spot and found the cobra snake hiding behind a rock at the garden of the restaurant, he immediately caught hold of the animal while it was trying to escape.
According to Chaman Singh snakes usually come out after rainy season when their pits are filled with water or when there is a high temperature. The snakes are cold blooded animals which can’t bear extreme heat or cold.

As soon as Chaman Singh rescued this giant cobra there was another call from Saheli Nagar after few locals spotted a snake hiding under a box. Chaman Singh told that 96 % of these animals are non poisonous and only 4 % are poisonous. They bite humans only when they are being disturbed or they find them as threat to their lives.
