A businessman died in a road accident at Udaipur-Pindwara route. His cashier got severely injured.

Businessman was on a scooty and his cashier was on the pillion. Pankaj Chowdhary was riding the scooty and his cashier Chandan Jain was with him. They were heading to Dhikli farm house. An overspeeding car coming from behind overran these 2 people on scooty. Pankaj and Chandan got dragged to a long distance with the car. Both the riders succumbed to head injuries and became unconscious. Pankaj Chowdhary died on the spot due to excessive bleeding.

As per reports, people who collected at the site of accident kept on making phone calls to the victims’ families and even called up 108. They found the victim’s number through adhar card found in his pocket. This went on for 20 minutes but no one bothered to rush them to the hospital. When relatives reached, they took both the victims to hospital. A shocking incident happened here, too. The car in which the relatives took both the injured people to hospital suddenly went ablaze in hospital premises. Public and hospital staff rushed to douse the fire. Passengers in the car are reported safe. Pankaj Chowdhary was declared dead by the medical team. The cashier Chandan Jain is still under observation in private hospital.
