Rockwoods Student wins International Math Olympiad
Pratyanch Jain, student of Rockwoods High School, secured 1st position in first level of 6th International Math Olympiad organized by Science Olympiad Foundation. With this, he qualified for Level -2 of the Olympiad which is scheduled on 17th February 2013.
Pratyanch Jain, student of Rockwoods High School, secured 1st position in first level of 6th International Math Olympiad organized by Science Olympiad Foundation. With this, he qualified for Level -2 of the Olympiad which is scheduled on 17th February 2013.
It is the 6th Olympiad being organized this year in which students from various countries are participating. Around 103 students from Rockwoods School participated in this educational quiz; among them 15 were of 2nd class kids. Pratyanch has already won many other competitions on both State and National Level.
Director of Rockwoods School, Alka Sharma congratulated Pratyanch and his family members for the remarkable achievement. Alka Sharma added that the school has been motivating both, students and their parents, on regular basis.
Deepak Sharma, Joint Director, Rockwoods School said, “Such competitions, along with knowledge, provide an exposure to students. They make kids logically sound as questions are mostly based on logical thinking.”
