Roof collapses after Cylinder burst in Udaipur | Five injured
A gas cylinder reportedly burst today morning in Purohiton ki Madri area. The cylinder burst was so intense that it took brought down the roof and the walls of the house trapping five people underneath it.
A gas cylinder reportedly burst today morning in Purohiton ki Madri area. The cylinder burst was so intense that it took brought down the roof and the walls of the house trapping five people underneath it.
As per preliminary information received, the incident happened in a house on Road no 2 at Purohiton ki Madri. The cylinder burst led to a huge explosion and the house walls collapsed trapping 5 people including 3 children.
A huge crowd rushed to the spot on hearing the explosion and the people gathered to pull out the 5 people from the house debris. All the five injured were admitted to hospital for treatment.
2 fire brigade vans also reached the spot and engaged in the fire extinguishing exercise and managed to control the fire. Police also reached the spot and has started investigation.
As per initial investigation, it is suspected that the incident happened due to gas leakage from the cylinder. Police is however investigating the matter thoroughly.
