A Renault Duster caught fire on the main road at Hiran Magri Sector 4 area today evening. Thankfully, the driver managed to get out of the car and there were no casualties.

The running car caught fire in Hiran Magri Sector 4 opposite Guru Nanak college. Ishwar Singh (R/O Pratapgarh) was driving his car from Pratapgarh to Udaipur to get it for servicing. All of a sudden the car caught fire while being driven and huge flames engulfed it in minutes.

On receiving the information, 2 fire brigades and team from Hiran Magri police station reached the spot. Fire brigade personnel managed to bring the fire under control after a massive effort. A huge crowd gathered at the location.

Cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
