Small Plane Crashes at London Airport, Turns into Fireball
July 14, 2025 - A small aircraft, operated by a Dutch company Zeusch Aviation, crashed shortly after take off at London Southend Airport in Essex on Sunday July 13 afternoon. Eyewitnesses said that the plane flipped and crashed head-first into the ground turning into a fireball merely 3-4 seconds after takeoff.
Casualties are feared though confirmed reports have not been released as to how many passengers were onboard and if any survivors. The jet reportedly had a capacity for around 13 passengers and two crew members.
The Beech B200 Super King Air passenger plane was on its way to Lelystad in the Netherlands after having come from Athens, Greece to Pula, Croatia and then to Southend. The aircraft was fitted with medical equipment and designed for medical evacuation, repatriation as well as private charters.
Southend Airport has been closed for service and multiple flights have been cancelled as police and the airport authorities cope with the emergency situation.
