A motor-mechanic and his assistant met with a fatal accident near Kevde ki Naal after they were returning from Semari Village, killing the mechanic.

Earlier in the morning yesterday, Shyam Lal Gameti, resident of Avri Mata Kacchi Basti got a call from Semari Village where a Dumper was to be repaired. Shyam picked up his helper Irfan who is a resident of Savina and left for Semari Village.

On the way back, their bike was hit by a Dumper near Kevde Ki Naal. Shyam Lal died on the spot and Irfan has been admitted to hospital.

Shyam’s body was handed over to his family after Postmortem.

The driver of the Dumper fled from the spot, and the Dumper has been seized by the police while the search for the absconding driver is underway.
