Stray animals flow in Water Canal

A bunch of stray animals, reportedly, flowed down at the Gumaniya Wala Bridge after being trapped in heavy water flow in the channel. Animals could not be saved even after several attempts by local residents. None of the rescue teams, government or private, arrived to save the poor animals.

In late afternoon, a group of several pigs and two dogs were seen trapped under the bridge and seemed helpless under situation.

Two young men Rakesh and Kalyan decided to help the horrified animals and got down in water, “we were trying to get them all under a pipeline through which the animals could be safely taken out of the heavy flow, but animals were too terrified and moved towards deeper side.”

All animals flowed towards Aloo Factory. UT reporter Gaurav Bhimawat also approached animal aid for rescue but animals were already poured before the team could reach.
