Students of B.Ed College, Vidhya Bhawan did a showdown on Friday demanding arrest of the car driver responsible for an accident. It may be noted that a girl student was hit by a car at Fatehsagar road in front of Vidhya Bhawan College while she was crossing the road. The student got seriously injured and is in ICU presently.

On 20^th February Geeta, a student of 1^st year in B.Ed Vidhya Bhawan, was crossing the road when an overspeeding car hit her and she got seriously injured. The car driver Dilip Kumawat is yet to be arrested in this case while his car has been seized by police. Geeta is in ICU following serious injuries. Students had filed a complaint in police station as per which vehicles come in great speed from Fatehsagar side and do not take care of the people crossing the road. Many accidents have happened on this road.

The students have demanded that the car driver be arrested immediately. It may be noted that the car driver is being searched by police as he was not available at his residence and is probably hiding somewhere. Students have also demanded that speed breakers be made at this road specifically in front of the college so that people slow down the vehicles here which would avoid accidents.
