Traffic on National Highway came to a standstill after a trailer rammed into a another trailer truck near Shiv Temple at Bhatewar bypass cross road. One person was seriously injured in the accident.

As per details received, a trailer truck applied sudden break when approaching a speed breaker constructed on the proposed six-lane highway. Sudden breaking caught the driver of trailer truck right behind him by surprise and he rammed his trailer truck into the first vehicle.

Because of the impact, the cabin of the second truck was severely crushed and the driver was badly stuck in there. This accident resulted in a one hour traffic jam on the highway.

Kheroda police reached the spot and with help of villagers around, took out the stuck driver from the cabin. The driver has been identified as Noor Mohammed (40), a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Noor Mohammed received severe injuries on his hands, legs and stomach. He was rushed to MB Hospital in a 108 ambulance.

Police meanwhile cleared the highway with help of a crane. Traffic resumed after almost a 1 hour jam.
