A truck carrying soft drink bottles overturned last night after banging into the divider opposite railway station. One person lost his life while two others were injured.

The accident happened last night around midnight. Truck carrying soft drink bottles hit the divider and overturned after losing control. The truck was coming towards the city when the incident happened. The driver had apparently applied emergency breaks as a result of which it lost control and hit the divider.

People around the place and police immediately rushed to the spot and all the three injured people were taken to the hospital where one person passed away during treatment.

The debris of bottles and broken glasses impacted traffic on the road. Police immediately got into action and deployed a team of sweepers to clean up the entire mess and clean up the path for traffic in morning.
