19330 Virbhoomi express going from Udaipur to Indore derailed near Ujjain on Sunday morning. Thankfully there were no injuries in the incident.

The incident happened after the train left Ujjain station. The train got off track near the C-cabin and there was as a loud noise. The train stopped after some distance. The passengers received a physical shock as the train got off track but thankfully no injuries were reported.

The incident happened around 8:30 in the morning. Two tyres of the engine got off-track near the c-cabin. Post this derailing, rail traffic on the route was disturbed.

As per media reports, team that reached the spot after the incident found broken pieces of track. The driver apparently had applied emergency breaks as a result of which the train got off track. It is being speculated that someone may have broken track section to cause derailment. Railway authorities have however not yet confirmed the same.
