A speeding Lok Parivahan bus going from Udaipur to Nimbahera lost control and fell off the road into a ditch today morning. Around 12 passengers were reportedly injured in the accident.

The accident happened today morning near Dabok Chauraha. The speeding bus fell off the road in an attempt to overtake a vehicle on NH-76. The driver was seriously injured in the accident.

Dabok Police reached the spot and rushed the injured to the hospital. Bus was removed with the help of a crane.

Locals reported that Lok Parivahan buses are known to drive very rash in an attempt to onboard as many passengers as possible. Resultantly, these buses have come close to serious accidents many a time. Locals demanded that Roadways department needs to seriously check the negligent driving in these cases.
