One of truck drivers of the three trucks, which collided on 11^th July (news here), succumbed to his injuries last night during medical treatment after receiving serious head injuries in the road accident. Three trucks had reportedly collided with each other near Pratap Nagar Bypass injuring all the drivers on 11^th July.

Vineet Kumar, 27, one the truck drivers died in MB Hospital last night. Vineet was driving an unloaded truck from Sukher towards Pratapnagar when the mishap occurred.

“He was working with HRTC, a Mumbai based transport company,” said Gajendra Singh, elder brother of Vineet who came to take his brother’s body.

Vineet originally hailed from Aligarh, U.P. According to Pratapnagar Police, he was allegedly drunk at the time of the accident.
