A video showcasing brutal accident followed by death of an individual has gone viral. The cctv footage shows a man being mowed over by Nagar Nigam (Municipal Corporation) garbage collection van in Udaipur.

The video has been posted by Dainik Bhaskar. As per the details released, a man was waiting on the road while waiting for bus. A speeding garbage collection van run by Nagar Nigam turned sharply and hit the man. The driver did not bother to stop by and ran away.

The incident is of 14 Feb. Sunderlal was waiting for bus at 8 am in the morning. He was standing in the centre of the road when the incident happened. As per the footage received from the cctv camera of a nearby house, the man was standing there for over two minutes after which the speeding van came, hit him and dragged him. He was later pronounced dead in the hospital.

Nagar Nigam has announced support of Rs 1 Lakh and Chief Minister relief fund will provide Rs 50000 to the family of the deceased. Watch the video below
