An incidence of short circuit earlier today at Aloo Factory areas claimed electrical appliances in around 15 houses in the locality. The affected residents of colony have lodged a complaint with the corresponding power house.

According to an eye witness of mishap, a transformer installed near worship place of Sagasji at Aloo Factory, had a short circuit earlier this noon.

This resulted in high voltage circulation in the locality causing damage to electrical appliances of around 15 houses. Power supply in the area was disrupted during this time.

Agitated residents of the locality filled a complaint in the corresponding power house located at Chitrakut Nagar near Bhuwana.

Soon after filling of the complaint, a team from electrical department visited the spot and power supply of the area was restored. The residents of Allu Factory are claiming compensation against loss caused due to the mishap.
