A 27-year-old woman committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance; woman’s husband is taken into police custody for his alleged involvement in the incident.

The incident occurred today afternoon, when Manisha Gurjar who used to work as a receptionist at Jain Tent House Udiapol, consumed poison before hiring rickshaw to Surajpol Police Station. She reached police station in a semi conscious state and eventually fell down, before police could understand anything, Manisha went unconscious.

She was immediately rushed to MB Hospital by police personnel, where during treatment she succumbed to death.

Manisha’s husband Kundanlal Gurjar was arrested by police. Prima facie, police is taking it a family matter; according to sources, Kundanlal was Manisha’s second husband whom she married 5 months ago. Manisha originally belong to Pratapgarh and was staying in Udaipur’s Khempura area.
