A youth was returning from a picnic at Bagheri ka Naka on a bike with 2 others. The bike was hit by a loading vehicle near Iswal. The youth who works in Hotel Lakend in Udaipur as a cook died in this accident while the other 2 with him suffered injuries.

Dilip Meena was away for a picnic with around 70 others who happen to be employees of Hotel Lakend. The other employees were returning in a bus while Dilip rode a bike with 2 others. In the evening when they reached near Iswal, they were hit by a loading vehicle. The driver of the loading vehicle escaped after the accident. Dilip and the 2 other youths were rushed to the hospital where Dilip died. The other 2 were suffered minor injuries and they were discharged after first aid.

The family members of the deceased youth were informed about his death the next morning. The family got agitated as they were informed late and they reached the hotel. From Hotel Lakend, they were sent to Alka Hotel where police also reached. The family were somehow pacified and sent to the mortuary.

Public needs to be alert specifically while crossing Iswal area. The route has a lot of hotels and dhabas and the roads do not have proper cuts. As a result, people drive on the wrong side and accidents take place. This area is often crowded during monsoon as public moves out for picnic. Last month, too, a lot of accidents took place here and people lost their lives as well.
