A youth died in accident and his hand got dragged for 28 kms by the vehicle that him.

A young man died in an accident on Udaipur-Ahmedabad fourlane near Bichiwada police station. His hand was found 28 kilometres away in bushes near Kherwara toll plaza.

Vinod s/o Krishna Kumar resident of Haryana was going to Mumbai on bike. He used to run a mobile shop in Mumbai. Vinod was wearing a bike rider uniform. He was hit by an unknown vehicle near Kherwara. He died on the spot. His severed hand probably got stuck in the wheel of the vehicle which hit him and got dragged a long way for 28 kilometres. It is being speculated that the vehicle driver noticed this hand while he was about to reach Kherwara toll plaza. The driver then pulled out the hand and threw it into the bushes.

Residents of Kherwara noticed this severed hand and terror prevailed in the village. Police were informed who started investigating the details. Severed hand with no trace of body scared the villagers to a great extent. Both Bichiwada police and Kherwara police started searching for the victim’s body. After the body was found and matched with the clothes that Vinod was wearing, it was concluded that the hand belonged to victim Vinod.

Vinod’s family members were informed. The body was kept in mortuary and after the arrival of family members; it was handed over to them after post mortem.
