A 24 year old youth’s body has been found near Baleecha bypass. As per police it seems to be an accidental case.

A youth’s body was found near Baleecha bypass crossing at around 9a.m. on Friday. The youth is reportedly 24 years of age and was riding a bike. There are marks on the head of this young man. It seems he was hit by a sharp weapon which indicates murder. Police says it could be a case of accident. As per IO Hanuwant Singh, the body has been identified as Pritam s/o Indermal Lohar resident of Ravji ka Hata. Pritam had a love marriage a few years back with Divya Gayri resident of Goverdhan Vilas. He lived near his borther-in-law’s house in a rented accommodation in Goverdhan Vilas and worked as a photographer. Pritam’s grandmother passed away on 11th August. The family had gone to Ravji ka Hata for the rituals. Pritam left home at night informing his wife that he was going to drop his friend Raju, who was a truck driver, to Baleecha. After this he did not get back home.  Pritam’s body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem.

As per post-mortem report, there are no marks on Pritam’s body which could indicate an accident. There are five deep wounds, one above the eye and the rest on his head which indicate that he was hit by a sharp weapon. Police says it was an accident whereas there are no signs of accident on the bypass crossing. Police have even checked CCTV footage of all the road side restaurants and dhabas  which have no recording of any such accident. There is a dhaaba 50 metres away from the spot where Pritam’s body was found.

Friend Raju is missing since the incident but police says that they have been able to contact him and he would soon appear for interrogation. Pritam’s family have not raised any suspicion, but seeing the chances of murder they want the case to be investigated thoroughly.
