Water Bills will see a 10% increased unit rate from April 2018 onward. Chief Secretariat Water Department has issued instructions to the Department of Water Supply a few days back, to make the increased rate effective from April 2018 billing.

This increase will be effective for domestic, commercial as well as industrial units. The current rate of 1.72 per thousand liter of water (upto 8000 liters) is now being increased to 1.89 per thousand liters. New connection rates will also increased accordingly.
