Commuters of 100ft road near Chawla’s Restaurant will find it more easier to use the road now as the small worship place (Dewra) situated in the middle of the road has been moved by the UIT in the morning today under their anti-encroachment drive.

The process was executed with the consent of the Bhil community that worshiped the deity.

The Dewra that has been established at that very spot for the last hundred years was coming in between the main road obstructing the traffic near Bhuwana bypass. The work started today morning under the supervision of Mr. Pradeep Sangawat (RAS) Special Officer UIT and Suresh Jain (AEN) with Vijay Patel (JEN).

“An objection was raised by the Bhil community earlier, but it has now been settled in cooperation with the community,” said an Official.

Bana Bhil, and elder of the Bhil community said that this particular Dewra of Bhil Samaj more than 115 -120 years old near Mandupa Talab.

According to a UIT official, the area enclosed the Dewra had a cavity, which was filled up by the JCB after shifting of the holy structure and they also removed the unnecessary sand blocks obstructing the traffic on road.
