Annual Panchayat Mela was organized today by Vidhya Bhawan Local Self-governance and Responsible Citizen Organization at Jhadol Panchayat Samiti Conference Hall, in which more than 150 public representatives from nearby villages participated.

While, hosting the ceremony, Pradhan of Jhadol Panchayat Samiti, Kanhaiya Lal Kharadi said that, public representatives should empower Janpratinidhi Ward meetings and permanent committees of village Panchayats for the development work in their area and to avail their rights.

Up-Pradhan Jhadol Panchayat Samiti, Mohan Lal Bhagora said that, the information received from Janpratinidhi Prashikshan should be used for the development of the villages and to spread the policy awareness amongst the local people.

Panchayat Mela was an open session where heads and representatives of different villages discussed the issues that they face and their varied successes in achieving the desired goals.

On the occasion, two magazines, ‘Panchayat Parivar’ and ‘Mahila Shakti’, printed by the organization were read, to impart the knowledge of public policies.
