16 CCTV cameras to monitor Udaipur
The city’s suspects, vehicles and precarious activities will be monitored through CCTV cameras installed at all the major tourist points and crossroads.

The tender has been passed under which the police department will install 3 big and 13 small CCTVs in the city worth Rs. 17 Lac.
Police said, “In the first phase, CCTV cameras will be installed at Udiapol, Delhi Gate, Chetak Circle, Fateh Sagar and Dudh Talai.”
At Fateh Sagar, near Kaala Kiwad and Pal; 1 camera at Dudh Talai; 5 at Udiapol, 4 cameras at Delhi Gate and Chetak Circle will be installed. The main monitors will be placed at the control room, Delhi Gate.
The high-definition 2.4 MP cameras will enable to capture even the number plate of the vehicles. Enabled with night vision feature, the cameras will automatically turn into night mode after sunset.
Nakoda Telecom Company will start installing the cameras from 3rd March and will maintain them for the next 2 years.
