Udaipur is in for a progress. The long awaited task of bypass from Debari to Kaya has commenced giving the masses another reason to rejoice.
A 23 kilometre bypass from Debari to Kaya has seen a flag-off. The work with an estimate of 900 crores finally began today. Sadbhav Company performed the rituals of “bhumi-pujan” at Debari and Bor ka naka. A grade separator choraha will also be constructed in Debari on 62 bighas of land. The bypass work was supposed to start almost a year back when the land was allotted but the company in charge could not put it into action.
Central road and transport Minister Nitin Gadkari was to inaugurate this event back then which did not happen for some reasons and the company assigned for this purpose also walked out. Now that “Sadbhav” company which constructed Chirva tunnel got this tender, we can expect the bypass work to be carried out smoothly. LNT rollers, dumpers and JCB machines have reached Debari for this purpose. As per the muhurat, bhumi-pujan was done in Bor ka naka and Debari and now it is expected that the long awaited construction work of bypass will be done at war-footing.
The bypass will connect Udaipur-Pindwara and Udaipur-Chittor highways. After the completion of Debari-Kaya bypass, Pratapnagar-Baleecha bypass will be used as outer ring road. Presently, the Pratapnagar-Baleecha bypass is overcrowded and invites a number of accidents.
