Due to absence of compulsory safety gears for the security of tourists, 3 boats regulating in the Jaisamand Lake was confiscated and handed over to the police.

Additional RTO Prakash Singh Rathore informed that Shyam Singh Hada who is the Transportation Inspector conducted the surprise inspection of 12 boats regulating in the lake out of which 3 were seized.

The confiscated boats with numbers RJ27MB0046, RJ27MB122 and RJ27MB275 didn’t have life jackets and other life saving equipment due to which they were handed over to SHO Vijay Singh Chauhan.

Rathore further added that strict actions will be taken against these boats under Rajasthan Boating Regulation Act, 1956 and 1957. He said that surprise inspection will be conducted in all the lakes of the district and the violators’ boat license will be cancelled.
