3.57 Crore Budget to PHED for laying Water Pipelines in 8 months

16 Kilometer pipeline will be installed at 44 colonies in Udaipur. In the first phase, 13.13 Km will be covered across 26 colonies and the remaining 3.7 Km will be covered in 18 colonies across the city

 

State government has granted a budget of Rs. 3.57 Crore to PHED (Public Health & Engineering Dept.) for laying water pipelines in uncovered areas of the city.

Approximately 16 Kilometer pipeline will be installed at 44 colonies in Udaipur.  In the first phase, 13.13 Km will be covered across 26 colonies and the remaining 3.7 Km will be covered in 18 colonies across the city.

Colonies in Sector 4, Sector 5, Sector 11, Sector 9, Goverdhan Villas, Sundervaas, Ashok Nagar, Khanjipeer, Mullatalai, Fatehpura, Bhuwana and few others are expected to be covered during the two phase installation of pipelines.

“We will try to wrap the work in 8 months. Also, engineers are instructed to be prepared for summers as the demand for water increases in the season”, said DK Gaur, PHED.

Gaur also informed that a drive against people using boosters or using illegal water connection will be enforced from 1st April.
