4 Crore Rupees to be spent on Road Maintenance
Amongst the various work orders issued by Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) on 28th March, an amount of Rs. 4 crore was sanctioned to be spent on repairing and maintenance of roads in different municipal govern colonies (Wards); stress is being laid on completion of work with due quality within the given time period.
Amongst the various work orders issued by Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) on 28th March, an amount of Rs. 4 crore was sanctioned to be spent on repairing and maintenance of roads in different municipal govern colonies (Wards); stress is being laid on completion of work with due quality within the given time period.
In this work order issued today, for repairing and upkeep of residential colonies of the town around 4 crore rupees will be spent, whereby a concrete road is sanctioned in ward numbers 33, 34, 35, 37 and 41, whereas road repairing works have been approved in other wards.
According to Rajni Dangi, Chairperson of UMC, amount of Rs. 45 lacs will be spent on building concrete road in 33, 34, 35, 37 and 41, whereas Rs. 42 lacs will be spent for restoring roads in 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 39, 42 and 50; further similar restoration works will be carried out in all the colonies entitled to Municipal Council for maintenance.
