In second phase of ‘Prashasan Sheron Ke Sang’, Udaipur Municipal Council delighted 47 more families by giving patta to the house and land owners under the scheme started by Sate Government. Council is also planning to continue the programme even after the official closing of scheme, so that maximum household deprived of ‘Patta’ could be benefited.

Today, UMC gave 47 pattas to residents of various colonies located in inner parts of the city. Programme held today in the presence of Gulab Chand Katariya, Ex- Home Minister & MLA, and other esteemed guests.

Katariya addressed the mass and suggested Council to continue this scheme even after official closing, so that houses of Scheduled Cast which established before 1965 and of General Category which established before 1985 could be benefited.

Admiring good work of the Council, Katariya added that various Districts governed by the Corporation are allotting patta on the basis of land size and shape, but Council of Udaipur has allotted the same irrespective of their size and shape on payment of Re 1 only.

Rajni Dangi, Chairperson, UMC, in a short briefing of scheme in the city informed that, around 700 families have been given this legal document for their land or house up till now; While a total of 1700 applications were received, but due to failing on technical grounds only 700 could be processed.
