Now, on cancellation of tickets of Premium Trains and Tatkal Quota, the passenger will receive 50% fare. This facility will commence from 1^st July. From 15^th June, the work related to software update will begin.

The fare of premium train works on dynamic system according to which the fare price increases with increase in demand. At times the price from the first stop to the last increases by 4 times as compared to the basic price.

According to sources, with good response from the public, in future passengers can expect 60% return of fare upon cancellation.
