There will be a temporary relief in the the Curfew imposed in several zones across Udaipur district between 12pm till 4pm effective from 2 July.

District Collector Tarachand Meena passed this order in the late hours of 1 July. Elaborating on the order, ADM OP Bunkar said that the curfew imposed across Dhan Mandi, Ghanta Ghar, Hathipol, Ambamata, Surajpol, Savina, Bhupalpura, Goverdhan Vilas, Hiran Magri, Pratapnagar and Sukher willl be relaxed from 12pm till 4pm effective 2 July. Apart from this window, the curfew will continue to be imposed as per the usual protocol, till further orders.

Curfew was clamped in Udaipur and its neighboring districts on 28 June following the hacking of a tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur's walled city location, Maldas Street in the afternoon of 28 June.
