Aadhar Card: Review conducted at Regional Level Officers Meet
A meeting was held today at Zila Parishad, Udaipur to assess the progress of the ongoing Aadhar Card registration process in Udaipur region. Various high level officials discussed the problems reported in Aadhar card registration process at different booths and also shed light on the future plans for expediting the registration process.

Jitendra Verma, Technical Director of National Information and Science Centre presented a detailed report of the work been done in this regard. Officials present in the meeting were given comprehensive information via power point presentation.
District Collectors of Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh and higher officials of Banswara were also present in the meeting.
Jitendra Verma told the attendees that Aadhaar Card will be made compulsory from 1st April for all government officials.
Senior Experts of UIDAI informed that the subsidy amount will be directly deposited in the bearer’s account through Direct Cash Transfer Scheme. Aadhaar Card will be used as a identification basis for this process.
Citizens who have already applied for the card will get it on their address in next three months.
The issues and problems faced at various booths were also discussed in the meeting.
