LPG Consumers will be now provided with accident insurance on new connections. According to DSO Himmat Singh Bhati, KYC forms will be filled on new connection and the gas companies will provide information about the due insurance policy to the household consumers.

The consumers will be provided with the rules of the policy, sum insured and procedure of claim etc. by the gas agencies, offices and at the collectorate’s office. The insurance copy will be presented to the consumers as well.

It has become compulsion for all gas agencies to provide insurance related information to the consumers.
