Municipal Corporation is going strict against banners and pamphlets which are stuck on public places. As per latest orders, anyone sticking banners or pamphlets at public places without prior permission will be dealt with strictly.
Revenue department has already started its campaign against banners and pamphlets on poles, government buildings, clubs etc. Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari has directed his department to remove any such banners and posters with immediate effect. On day-one of this campaign, cases were registered against 4 people. Campaign was carried out from Surajpole to Delhi Gate, Court Circle, Chetak Circle, Panchwati and Residency road.
Nitesh Bhatnagar is leading this campaign. No posters or banners or pamphlets can be pasted on any of the public places or poles without prior approval. As per the rules of campaign, concerned person will first be issued a notice. If he does not do as directed, he will be penalised with 5000 rupees. If the penalty is not paid, a case will be filed against the person.
