In order to collaboratively work towards making Udaipur a Smart City in every aspect, Action Udaipur launched a mobile application on 2^nd September with the help of district administration.

The launch was attended by Anand Shrivastava, IG Police as the chief guest who appreciated the launch saying that this application will provide a platform to bring forth complaints, suggestions and feedback from general public and solutions from administration to address them.

Collector Rohit Gupta said that this initiative is a step to develop Udaipur as ‘Model City’. Also, suggestions are welcome on smartcityudaipur@gmail.com from the citizens.

Chief Planning Officer Sudhir Dave informed about the mobile application through PPT. For the immense contribution in Action Udaipur delegates including Akhilesh Joshi (HZL), Vimal Patni (RK Marble), Arvind Singhal (Wolkem India), Madan Paliwal (Miraj), Sharad Kataria (Udaipur Marble), Hansraj (UCCI) and Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar (Shiv Niwas) were honored during the launching ceremony.

After the launch of the mobile application, around 50 downloads took place in less than one hour by Udaipurites. This application is available at Play Store under ‘Action Udaipur’ which already received rave reviews from the people.

The smartphone consumers will have to download the application for free and begin the use of voicing their opinions over certain issues of the city including broken roads, lack of hygiene, non functioning street lights, water clogging, damage to public property, etc. The moment a complaint is made, the administration will receive the message plus the consumer will receive an SMS with details and solutions.
