After successfully completing 100+ projects under the banner Action Udaipur, around 2000 social workers will be honored on 23^rd February at Mohanlal Sukhadia Auditorium.

District Collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar will preside over the event and the special guest will be Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari. In May 2014, Action Udaipur was evolved in an attempt to beautify the city and clean every corner of Udaipur. Under this program the administration motivated the general public to undertake the task of cleaning.

Action Udaipur led to cleanliness of public parks, walls, bus stand, railway station, general roads, crossroads, cemetery premise, bridges, reconstruction of fountains and coloring of areas by the volunteers.

For the uphill task, social media played an important role. With over 6500 members of Action Udaipur on Facebook, the volunteers pick up a particular place or area that needs makeover and post the before & after pictures for all to see.

So far, 150 presentations have been made in various schools and institutes about Action Udaipur. 102 public places have been renovated in the city. Many social workers, students, colleges, private institutes, government entity, offices and NGOs have been working collaboratively with the district administration in regards to Clean Udaipur.
