Udaipur administration has taken an innovative route to getting people to don a helmet while driving two wheelers. The administration has launched a ‘Maa ki Saugandh’ campaign along with Regional Transport Office.

‘Maa ki Saugandh’ initiatve poster was revealed by District Collector Bishnu Charan Mallick yesterday. The campaign aims at sensitizing youth about road safety and on the importance of wearing a helmet.

Readers may recall that Mallick had called out to all mother via an emotional open letter issued on Mothers Day about loss of young lives due to not wearing helmet.

Releasing the poster, Mallick said that if mothers are determined that their kids drive with proper headgear then kids will follow their advice. He urged mothers to ask kids for a promise to drive safely, with a helmet and not perform stunts on road.
