The election commission has organised training sessions of Section Magistrate appointed for Udaipur Zone. Polling dates for state assembly election is 1^st December.

The RTO Udaipur has engaged 325 vehicles for booth patrolling and transportations of election officers.

Udaipur administration preparing for the election organised 2^nd meeting which followed training for Section Magistrate. The meeting was held under the supervision of District magistrate Ashutosh Pednekar and Additional District Magistrate Mohammad Yaseen Pathan at Fateh Memorial School.

According to Yaseen Pathan, the meeting covered various points regarding security at polling booths. An area Magistrate is appointed over every constituency sub-divided into areas, whereas section magistrate is for various areas sub-divided into sections.

In addition to this, section magistrate would be carrying out patrolling in respective sections, for required law and order during polling and campaigns of various political parties.
