The Rajasthan State Government has announced 17th December to be ‘Non Violence Day’ or ‘Ahimsa Divas’ to celebrate Paraswanath Jayanti.

For the day, the government has strictly ordered to keep all the slaughter houses closed on this day and to keep the shops selling meat, chicken, fish etc. closed.

The order has to be followed by all as the breach of it would lead to stringent actions.

For the written order and important information, people can contact the District Collector, Mayor, Commissioner’s personal assistant, Superintendent of Police, Health Officer of Nagar Nigam, Slaughter House in charge and all meat businessmen.
