Airport Authority of India has taken on the mantle of development in villages nearby airports in selected cities. Udaipur has been selected as one of the cities which will receive aid from AAI.

Airport Authority of India has taken on the mantle of development in villages nearby airports in selected cities.  Udaipur has been selected as one of the cities which will receive aid from AAI.

Forming a part of their CSR activities, the AAI will lend aid to Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam for developing villages nearby airports.

Basic necessitates like Education, Drinking Water, Street Lights and such will be included in the aid.  Six villages in Udaipur, viz. Dabok, Medta, Tus, Dangiyan, Mandesar, Ganoli, Naamri and few others will soon see construction of water tanks, drinking water systems and water pipeline installations in the first phase of the activity.

Anil Verma, Director, Maharana Pratap Airport informed that, “The plan of action is being sent to the Airport Authority, which includes points like Health, Education, Drinking Water and Toilets in Schools.”

Talking about the highlights, an ICU ambulance between Dabok and Udaipur will be facilitated.  20 villages will have Water Purifier installation; schools will receive new furniture; ECG and Incubator installation in Primary Hospitals in Dabok and Daroli; Solar Street Lights installation in 15 villages and installing Toilets in schools are the few points to begin with.
